About the Parish
Welcome to the Parish of the Assumption, Booterstown. It is located on the south side of Dublin City, in the administrative County of Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown.
The parish was created in 1616 and has had an unbroken line of parish priests since then. Their names are displayed on a tablet in the church.
The Church of the Assumption is on Booterstown Avenue and was dedicated in 1813. It was built at the expense of the Earl Fitzwilliam who provided it for his Catholic tenants.

Lassus Singers will sing 1230 Mass 29th April

The Medical Missionaries of Mary wish to invite
the parishioners to join them at a special Mass
in the Church at 12 noon on Saturday, 28th January
and for refreshments afterwards at the Stillorgan
Park Hotel.

This is a First Holy Communion programme: 2nd class children from St. Mary’s Boys’, Our Lady of Mercy, All Saints, Booterstown National School and St. Andrew’s College will attend January 15th Mass with their families and be active in the liturgy.Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament
