Baptism Team
Our Group:
Parish Baptisms take place on the third Saturday of the month at 12 noon.
The Parish Baptism Team hosts a monthly meeting on the Wednesday evening ten days prior to parish baptisms. The meeting takes place at 8 pm in the Parish Centre (opposite Gleeson's Lounge) and is open to all parents preparing for baptisms during that month. Members of the team work in pairs and are responsible for meeting parents and assisting them in the preparation for the baptism of their child. Baptismal candles are available at a cost of 5 euro. Parents and/or Godparents are invited to participate in the ceremony by doing a reading or prayer of the faithful.
