Members visit parishioners who are in nursing homes, chatting with them and keeping them in touch with current events in the parish. They also call on elderly or housebound parishioners if they would like a visit; and help out with light shopping, transport to the doctor, to Mass, etc., whenever possible. Volunteers are always welcome. It is helpful to let the group know when a parishioner goes into a nursing home or if there is someone who would like to be visited at home.
