This group plans the vibrant Family Mass, held at 10 a.m. on Sundays during term time. Members work together with Annemarie, the director of the Children's Choir and Declan Kinsella, the accompanist, to help make this Mass a joyous liturgical celebration. The Children's Choir practise on certain Sundays after the Family Mass.
Each week group members nominate two children to bring up the gifts at the Offertory, and four children to read the Penitential Rite, the Scripture Reading and the Prayers of the Faithful. There is a practice about 20 minutes before Mass. The Children's Liturgy Group is also responsible for the Family Mass each Holy Thursday and for the Stations of the Cross at 12 noon on Good Friday.
