Welcome to the Parish of the Assumption, Booterstown. It is located on the south side of Dublin City, in the administrative County of Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown.
The parish was created in 1616 and has had an unbroken line of parish priests since then. Their names are displayed on a tablet in the church.
The Church of the Assumption is on Booterstown Avenue and was dedicated in 1813. It was built at the expense of the Earl Fitzwilliam who provided it for his Catholic tenants.
Our Website exists to tell you about our parish, the wider community and the interesting history of our area. We hope that you enjoy your visit.
