The Conference of the Assumption helps families or individuals through hard times by offering advice, visits and support, whether financial or by way of goods such as clothing or furniture. Visits are often made to offer company and moral support. Practical help varies widely according to clients’ particular needs – it can include funding for education, for instance, or support in finding accommodation. The Conference is twinned with the Parish Conference at Killinarden in West Dublin and it supports the work of that Conference. New members would be welcome.
