Faith Formation & Spirituality
The aims of this group are:* To assist young people as they progress in their sacramental life
* To provide opportunities for those wishing to deepen their knowledge of our Faith
* To encourage all to embark on a journey in exploring our shared Faith
*To reach out to those for whom the Faith may no longer seem a life-giving force.
*To promote the value of scripture study and meditation as means of encounter with Christ.
Programme
*Organising a Faith Friends Programme for young people preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation
*Interacting with parents of the First Holy Communion children
*Engaging a varied selection of renowned speakers for lectures including
- Open forum
- Providing evening meditations during Lent and Advent
- Scripture Study Group for adults
- Scripture study for 5 - 11 year monthly.
