SPECIAL EVENT: HOSTING OF THE EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS BELL IN BOOTERSTOWN PARISH:  FEBRUARY 4TH AND 5TH

Saturday, 4th February 2012

5.30 – 5.45 p.m. - Ceremony for Reception of the Bell.

6 p.m. - Mass, followed by Holy Hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and dwelling on our call to prayer and community as symbolised by the Eucharistic Congress Bell.

The Bell remains in Booterstown Church overnight.

 

Sunday, 5th February 2012

9 a.m. - Mass. Short introduction of the Congress bell, which remains present during Mass, but which leaves immediately afterwards for 10 a.m. Mass in Blackrock.

12 noon - The Bell returns to Booterstown Church for 12.30 p.m. Mass. Introduction. The Bell returns to Blackrock for 2.30 p.m.

No Family Mass mid-term break

There will be no family mass over the February mid-term break.  The family mass and childrens choir will resume at 10 o'clock mass on Sunday 26th February 2012

The Annual Parish Golf Outing will take place in Elm Park on Friday 11th May 2012.

Feb 5th: Mass. Day for Consecrated Life

At mass on Feb. 5th. the religious attending will make a renewal of their committment to the consecrated life, in the presence of the congregation. Find out more->

INVITATION from Medical Missionaries of Mary

The Medical Missionaries of Mary wish to invite
the parishioners to join them at a special Mass
in the Church at 12 noon on Saturday, 28th January
and for refreshments afterwards at the Stillorgan
Park Hotel.

Unsigned Mass Cards:

Available from the rack in the church porch. Please leave €1 in envelope provided.

Thursday Morning Teas:

Join us in Parish Centre at 10am

Parish Radios for the sick and housebound

Shortwave radios, tuned into Booterstown church are available for those unable
to attend Mass. They are easy to use and free of charge. Contact
the Parish Office at 283 1593

Do This in Memory of Me Programme

This is a First Holy Communion programme:  2nd class children from St. Mary’s Boys’, Our Lady of Mercy, All Saints, Booterstown National School and St. Andrew’s College will attend January 15th Mass with their families and be active in the liturgy.
