Teams of stewards, whom we are referring to as Guardian Angels, have been diligent in ensuring the health and safety of everyone and we ask you to be patient as they familiarise themselves with their new role. We recommend that those who are nervous of attending Sunday Masses will attend during the week instead when smaller attendances are anticipated. Weekday Mass suffices as the Sunday obligation.
All Masses will continue to be transmitted via the parish webcam.
Please read the full Church attendance guidelines – July 2020 we have in place for attendance at our Parish Church safely and in accordance with guidelines
Timetable of Masses: Weekday Mass at 10 am is celebrated from Tuesday to Saturday
inclusive. The church and the Parish Office remain closed on Mondays. Sunday Mass
times are Vigil, Saturday at 6 o’clock and Sunday at 9 am and 11 am.
Eucharistic Adoration continues on Tuesdays from 10.30 am until 10.00 pm until the end of July. Eucharistic Adoration will not take place in August.
Shrines and Candles: As you can appreciate the hand sanitising liquid is highly flammable. It is recommended that you do not light a candle having used the hand sanitiser. We strongly discourage people congregating at the Shrines. If someone is lighting a candle, please allow them the space to do so, maintaining a discreet distance from the shrine.
Sacristy Area: May we respectfully advise you that only the parish clergy and the Sacristan are permitted to enter the Sacristy area.
Co-ordinators of Parish groups need to contact Adrienne Hughes, Manager of the Pastoral Centre, by 31st July 2020, if they wish to book a meeting room in the Pastoral Centre and to let her know their requirements for September.
The Parish Office is closed from Monday 20th July until Friday 31st July, inclusive.
