Regrettably, we are now in Phase 5 of “Covid Restrictions” therefore Religious services will move on-line from St. Stephen’s Day. Places of worship may remain open for private prayer.
Funerals: The number of mourners who can attend a Funeral Mass is restricted to 10.
Weddings: only 25 guests can attend a wedding ceremony and reception up to 2nd January 2020. With effect from 3rd January, only 6 guests are permitted to attend a wedding ceremony and reception.
Parish Arrangements from 26th December: The Church will not be open on St. Stephen’s Day. Mass will not be celebrated via the parish webcam on Sunday 27th December as I will be on leave up to and including Thursday, 31st December.
Please visit the websites of other churches in the locality for transmission of Mass on webcam. Alternatively, Mass is televised on RTE.
The celebration of Mass via the parish webcam will resume on Friday, 1st January at 10.00 am.
From then on, I will continue to celebrate 10 am Mass daily, including Sundays, behind closed doors and it will be live streamed.
Adoration will not take place on Tuesday, 29th December but it will resume on Tuesday 5th January.
Visiting the Crib: During the coming week, commencing on Sunday, I encourage families to visit the church and in particular to pray at the Crib. A special prayer is displayed at the crib.
