The Act of Spiritual Communion.  It was written by St. Alphonsus de Liguori and it is lovely for people who are watching the webcam at home and who wish to make a Spiritual Communion. (Hard copies are available in the church porch also).

By making an Act of Spiritual Communion, we express our faith in Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist and ask him to unite himself with us. Act of Spiritual Communion written by St. Alphonsus de Liguori:

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

The Bishops of Ireland statement advises that in the current emergency we find ourselves that all are dispensed from the obligation to physically attend Sunday Mass.

The Pastoral Centre is closed for ALL activities.

Thank you for your kind co-operation. Keep Safe.
