Holy Week and Easter Mass Arrangements 2022

Eucharistic Adoration: Adoration will not take place on Tuesday, April 19th or Thursday, April 21st. We will resume the following week.

Holy Thursday:
Mass at 5:00 pm 
Holy Thursday Mass at 5 p.m. We are hoping that many children with their families will attend the Mass and join in the hymns which will be from the “Grow in Love” religious education programme.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.30 pm followed by Prayer at the Altar of Repose
10:00 pm Watch and Pray

Good Friday: A Day of Fast and Abstinence
12.00 noon Stations of the Cross led by young parishioners
Stations of the Cross on Good Friday at 12.00 p.m. For the first time since the pandemic began, the Stations will be led by children and their families. We invite children, accompanied by a parent, to join the procession around the Stations. Children must be accompanied by a parent/care giver. Rehearsal at 11.15 am on Good Friday

3.00 pm: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.
7.30 pm: Church of the Assumption, Booterstown, will host Ecumenical Prayer around the Cross with our Church of Ireland and Presbyterian neighbours.

Holy Saturday:
Confessions: 10 am until 12:00 noon
Easter Vigil: Mass at 8.30 pm.
Easter Sunday: Mass at 9.00 am and 11:00 am.
