Holy Week and Easter 2021 - Easter at Home

Archbishop Dermot Farrell will celebrate the Chrism Mass in the Pro-Cathedral at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 31st March. Only a small number of people will be physically present. The Mass may be viewed on www.procathedral.ie webcam.

The Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Tenebrae will be celebrated on Thursday 1st April at 7.30 pm. The resource sheet for Tenebrae here: Tenebrae Holy Thursday 1st April 2021

Stations of the Cross for Families will take place on Good Friday April 2nd at 12.00 noon. This service will be led by Marion and Mairin and the resource for the service is available here: Stations of the Cross for Families – Good Friday

The Celebration of the Lord’s Passion is at 3.00 pm on Good Friday April 2nd.

The Vigil for Easter will be celebrated at 8.30 pm on Holy Saturday April 3rd.

All the ceremonies for Holy Week and Easter will be celebrated behind closed doors. They will be available on our webcam and the recordings will be retained for some days following the ceremonies.

Missalettes for Palm Sunday and the Triduum contain a large number of pages so we are unable to upload these to the website however there are some copies on the table at the back of the church.

10.00 am Mass will be celebrated from Mon-Wed (29th to 31st March) inclusive this week. Morning Mass is not celebrated from Holy Thursday to Holy Saturday.
