Required Safety & Safeguarding Training Sessions for Volunteers

Child Safeguarding Information Sessions: If you are planning to volunteer in the future, it is essential to attend an Information Session.
Forthcoming sessions are:
Marlay Grange Parish Centre on Mondays, 14th and 21st October at 7:00 pm
Dundrum Pastoral Centre on Tuesday, 5th November at 11:00 am and at 7:00 pm.

It is essential to advise our parish Safeguarding Representative that you will attend. Email via centre@booterstownparish.ie

Workplace Safety & Security Training: The parish values the safety and security of each of its volunteers and employees. Workplace safety and security is essential for every volunteer and user of the centre as we all want to operate in a safe and protected atmosphere. Mr. Pat Nolan, (FSH Consulting), a retired Garda, will give a talk on Thursday, 10th October at 7.00 pm in the Pastoral CentreAll volunteers are requested to make every effort to attend.

For those who volunteer in the parish or in the Pastoral Centre, it is necessary to complete a Garda Vetting Form and Adult Volunteer Form. These forms are available from the parish office (Tel. 01 283 1593 or email info@booterstownparish.ie so that your paperwork is cleared by September).
