Welcome Back!! Update on Booterstown Parish Masses

Coronavirus Updates for church services

Welcome back to our first weekend Masses – the last time that many of you were in the church or the Pastoral Centre was for Christmas Mass. It is lovely to see you all in person and we rejoice in your presence. We continue to transmit the weekday and Sunday Masses via the webcam and this will not cease, just because the public celebration of Mass has resumed.

In relation to Health and Safety – all the precautions we have become so familiar with remain in place. Please sanitise you hands on entering the church and again before Holy Communion. Please maintain your social distance from others and remember to wear your mask when you enter the church, not just for Mass, but when attending Adoration or for private prayer. Once again, we are indebted to our Guardian Angel Volunteer Stewards without whom we could not open the church.

Sunday Mass at 11:00 AM: this can be a particularly busy Mass and many of our senior parishioners like to attend the Mass. A number of Anniversary Masses can take place at this time which means a large attendance. We will be grateful if the younger members of the parish community might go to the Pastoral Centre if they place to attend Mass at 11:00 am. Thank you and I am sure we will all settle into our new routine in the coming weeks when the numbers settle down and even out.

Weekday Mass at 10 am is celebrated from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. The church and the Parish Office are closed on Mondays.

Eucharistic Adoration weekly on Tuesdays recommended last week, beginning after Mass at 10.30am and concluding at 10.00 pm. We are always grateful for additional volunteers, and we make a particular appeal for a volunteer from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
